Shrubs

                                        Shrubs

While on an assignment somewhere in Jharkhand during rainy season I was attracted towards shrubs which was burning against the sun after the showers. It was pleasant scene with eyes soothing effect tempted me to shoot and make some frames. Luckily I had my beloved camera Canon fitted with long zoom that helped me to produce compressing effect of the picture and differentiate the shrubs from the background. So far as shrubs are concern that is small and woody plants but lack of thick and hard trunk with small, medium and sometime large leaves like rose, henna, lemon, Tulsi and Jasmine etc.

Shrubs are also called bushes which are more densely and consist of perpetually thick plants with lot of stems branching out with thick leaves and smaller than big trees. Generally shrubs are used for landscaping of the garden, make hedges, background screens, fences and more. Some of the shrubs have permanent structures of woody stems which come in all shape and sizes with some holding their leaves all long the year, but some losing them in autumn. Many shrubs have very attractive hues, foliage, fruits and bark. Some shrubs are also help in making citrus syrups, cocktails to add intriguing concentrated flavors.

Lemon trees are bigger than shrubs its stems are hard and woody with lot of branches. Its height is 6 to 10 meters, where as tomatos shrub is smaller and its stems are loose and soft. It is not coming into shrubs. Shrubs are good for environment as it filters the dust and pollutants improve air qualities also capable of holding and reducing erosions during rain and deluges. Several shrubs namely hibiscus, copper leaf, Durante, boxwood, yellow flames azaleas, pearl, peacock flower, rose etc is found in India. Shrubs are also used for making picturesque garden delicately cut into various patterns and sizes. I still remember of my childhood when with friends I use to play hide and seek around shrubs and enjoying the days.
