The thrill of a train journey, especially when the scenery whizzes past, is a sensory overload. Once, on such a trip, I was captivated by the fleeting beauty rushing by. But I wanted to capture more than just a fleeting memory. With my new Canon IS (Image Stabilizer) lens, an idea sparked!

This lens boasted technology to minimize camera shake, ensuring sharp images even without a tripod. Perfect for a moving train! But instead of freezing the entire scene, I decided to experiment with slow shutter speed. The result, as you can see in the photo, was stunning.

By using a short zoom and a slow shutter speed, I intentionally blurred the background and surroundings while keeping the train itself sharp. This technique, coupled with the lush greens of the rainy season, created a vibrant and dynamic image.

At a photo exhibition, curious viewers were drawn to the picture, eager to know the secret behind it. I explained the "slow shutter speed" trick, but with a caution: attempting such photography while moving can be dangerous.

As a media professional, I believe a single, well-composed image can speak volumes. It can capture movement, stillness, drama, landscapes and emotions – the essence of a story. Just like the saying goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words."

Legendary photographers like Raghu Rai and Don McCullin have mastered this art form, influencing countless others. Their work serves as a constant source of inspiration.

थोड़े ज़ूम और धीमी शटर गति का उपयोग करके, मैंने जानबूझकर ट्रेन को ही तेज रखते हुए पृष्ठभूमि और परिवेश को धुंधला कर दिया। इस तकनीक ने बरसात के मौसम के हरे भरे पत्तों के साथ मिलकर एक जीवंत और गतिशील छवि बनाई।

एक फोटो प्रदर्शनी में, जिज्ञासु दर्शक तस्वीर की ओर आकर्षित हुए, इसके पीछे के रहस्य को जानने के लिए उत्सुक थे। मैंने "धीमी शटर गति" की तरकीब समझाई, लेकिन एक चेतावनी के साथ: चलते समय ऐसी फोटोग्राफी का प्रयास खतरनाक हो सकता है।

एक मीडिया पेशेवर के रूप में, मेरा मानना है कि एक अच्छी तरह से रचित एक तस्वीर बहुत कुछ बयां कर सकती है। यह गति, स्थिरता, नाटक, परिदृश्य और भावनाओं को कैद कर सकती है - एक कहानी का सार। जैसा कि कहा जाता है, "एक तस्वीर हजारों शब्दों के बराबर होती है।"
