Mystery of Rainbow
We all have
seen Rainbows during rainy season, which are in half circle (inverted U) shape sometimes
found in the sky; very attractive and colorful divert the attention of human
being. Its life is very short maximum 10
to 15 minutes but has the greatest quality of attraction and eyes soothing to
the viewers. When Sun light which looks white in color but actually that is the
mix of seven colors which enters into the water droplets then it is refracted
at the boundary of air and water where the light disintegrates into the seven colors
red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. It is separation of the
spectrum wavelength which differs from color to color.
Sometime we
see double rainbows which are due to when sunlight reflected twice within a
raindrop with the violet light which reaches to the watchers eyes coming from
the higher raindrops and red light from lower raindrops.
There are some facts about rainbow—
1.
Raindrops
formed when sunlight passes through raindrops,
2.
It
is made of seven colors,
3.
They
formed into perfect circles due to shape of the raindrops,
4.
Nobody
has ever find the end of a rainbow
5.
Double
rainbows can be formed
6.
Moon
bows happen in night.
I got the idea of writing about the
mysteries of the Rainbow after seeing one of my pictures which I shot at Nobbis
beach in Newcastle Australia when I was taking evening stroll around there.
Luckily I found a full arch of the rainbow which was formed before me making me
nut and I went on shooting spree of the beautiful phenomena.
