Somersault
Somersault
Once I was
travelling deep into countryside of Bihar and suddenly I saw some children
jumping into a rivulet indulge in merry making and enjoying their acts with
full zeal. So I stopped for a while and watched their interesting activities.
They had the competition among themselves that who is jumping from highs and
doing some better somersault acts than the other. Their activities were like
visual delight. So, I aimed my camera towards them and started taking some pictures
of the children and got some good and telling pictures of their activities.
Those were from poor class and from nearby villages and enjoying the vacation
as their schools were closed.
Seeing their
interesting acts I thought that as they are from poor class and didn’t have any
opening or approach to the high ups so that they cannot participate in some of
the state or national level sporting activities. If the government hunt them at
younger stage and give proper training, environment and diet they can excel in
any sporting activities and fetch laurels for the state or the country. As we
see many sports persons are from humble background are excelling nicely in
their respective sports and fetching lot of applause for their home, state as
well as for the country. For this there should be some person who has some
piercing eyes to search and recognize their talent and introduce them to the
vast world of sports in initial stage.
So far as
sporting equipment are concerns those are beyond their capacity to buy, so that
should be made available to the youngsters through the government agencies or
through sponsorships and at the same time the youngsters should be given good
coaching through qualified persons in their respective sport. If the proper
died, environment, coaching, guidance are given to them there is no doubt that
they will not hit the bulls eye.
