Recently
one of close friend Sahji Joseph came to Ranchi to cover last phase of
electioneering and made a programmed to Visit Dumka, Godda, Raj Mahal and its
surrounding just to see the whirlwind tours of leaders from different parties
and to get the pulse of election in this sultry heat and in the scorching sun
at 43 degree Celsius. It was quite difficult for everyone to venture out of
their houses and to hear their respective leaders but the leaders and their
supporters were sweating out in this inclement weather as they have to get the
votes from them.
So
in this way I met with some of the top leaders of the respective parties and
got their versions and came to conclusion that most of the leaders are speaking
in their favor as if they are certainly
going to hit the bulls eyes at this time to as there were no such anti
incumbency in the air, so getting the pulse of the election is proving quite
difficult, some say that there are silent voters mostly ladies which are not coming forward for the fear of coming
into the limelight at the same time pockets of different castes and religions
are divided and they will go for their respective candidates.
In
the mean during election tour I got a chance to see the PM’s meeting in Dumka
and saw people were frenzy for him in this sultry heat too, he addressed the
gathering in favor of his candidate for an hour and tried to turn the masses
into his favor as he is the only cynosure for his respective party BJP, which
is supposed to get the thrown 3rd time too. So let us see what is
store there in near future as the canvassing process ended and electioneering
process of the last phase begins.
