Anna Hazare Kites
Anna Hazare Kites
In the early
November month of 2011, I was on assignment in Gujrat and touring all along the
Ahmadabad City as well as interiors of Gujarat state. In the mean time I was
moving around in a densely populated area of the city where a shop selling
kites of Anna Hazare grabbed my attention, then I asked the shopkeeper why
these kites have the pictures of Anna Hazare? He smiled and replied that this
Aanna Hazare is a saint and is in the process of changing the present political
scenario in Delhi with churning out a great revolution with Arvind Kejriwal
, at that time Arvind Kejriwal and Co. was
also in very lime light and relevant with the revolution with a broom symbol so
that he will broom out the corruption from the present government of Delhi as
well as of other states.. I also came to know that the shopkeeper is stocking
Anna Hazare kites for the Kite festival which commence on 14th of
January next year.
Those days
of squatting and demonstration in New Delhi against the Congress government,
which Anna Hazare was leading was talk of the days and he was seen as 2nd
JP and mentor of Arvind Kejriwal, they both were on hunger strike near Jantar
Mantar. Arvind Kejriwal used Anna Hazare
as stepping stone and later become chief minister of Delhi and ruling the state
in whimsical way and nursing the desire of becoming Prime minister of India one
day, as his party also grabbed the power
in Punjab. Thinking it as great achievement he started ignoring Anna Hazare and
slowly Anna lost in oblivion.
As this is the time of general
election and most of the party are in fray and shedding sweat and campaigning
for their respective parties Arvind Kejriwal is attracting eye balls of every
Indian through electronic, print medias as well as through social media 24X7
and the person who made him is no where now, sometimes his feeble voice like
dropping of a pin is heard but of no use and nobody taking care of him. He is
used and thrown by his own disciple, so in this way the time is taken a full
circle let us see what is next?
