Sleeping Angel
Sleeping
Angel
While sojourning in
Patna at my brother’s house during pink winter I noticed that a four weeks old
infant sleeping before me was frowning her face showing irritations as the harshly
sun rays was directly hitting her face and she was feeling uncomfortable. Also
due to harsh light deep shadows were created on her chicks and nose, so I asked
the family members to bring a white cleaned Dhoti to cover her face, but rather
covering her face I decided to cover the directly hitting the sun rays and
diffused its lights and made it soft, so in this way soft and soothing filtered
natural light gently started kissing her face.
After that arrangements suddenly
the expression of the little angel changed, as she got much relief and the
expressions of her face itself says that she is feeling cool, calm in a very
cozy atmosphere and comfortable now. Then I decided to capture her that mood
forever. I asked the family members to put a headband to her head very
carefully as like to handle it with kid’s gloves, so that she couldn’t feel disturbed
and uncomfortable. Just to make this picture a telling frame, I made the
backdrop little bit dark, for that I used very less props.
1. Dark green Towel for backdrop,
2.
A white Dhoti for diffusing the harshly sun rays,
3.
A headband just for décor.
I didn’t use any other artificial light
source to shoot this frame. I shot this frame with the help of my beloved
camera Canon EOS Mark III with 100mm macro lens in natural light. So in this
way I induced heartwarming reactions from all the family members.
