Gem of Waterfalls, Tiru
Gem of Water falls, Tiru
A hidden gem which is not very explored in the surrounding of Ranchi is a waterfalls called Tiru, which is about 40 Kms west of Ranchi is well connected with road. Its pristine natural beauty surrounded by lush green jungle water falls from a high of 300 ft making like musical renddition at the bottom. Attracting nature’s lovers, photographers, picnickers and tourists a lot.
I got a
chance to visit this beautiful place on the invitation of JPA (Jharkhand
Photographic Association) on World Photography day two years back. So we left
in the morning for that and after travelling about one and half hrs we reached
at the destination. Tiru waterfall comes under Burmu Taluka of Ranchi. The
beauty of Jharkhand is its jungle, high hills, rocks, rivers and waterfalls. Within
40 Kms of radius of Ranchi there are many waterfalls such as---
1.
Hundru
2.
Jonha
3.
Dasam
4.
Panchghagh
5.
Ghaghari
6.
Sita
and so many.
So, the tourists are stung by its
natural beauty and beeline towards this city. Although this waterfall is not so
famous due to its remote distance from the Ranchi city but the nearby villagers
use to enjoy the serenity of this jungle and use it for bathing and fishing too,
it is best tourist spot for them. Whoever visited this place is fallen in love
with it due to its surroundings by beautiful jungle, water falling over it with
a great height and that’s turned into small rivulet flowing through the rocks,
making like melodious song. But only thing is lacking is its cleanness and
dilapidated condition of the staircase which has caved in and become dangerous
on some points. Every year on January 14, a fair is organized on the occasion
of Sankranti, where villagers from nearby take part in it and enjoy the event.
